Master Roofing Australia has given new life to this original colorbond shed. Mareena and Michael cannot believe how the "iron roof restoration" process has given new life to a once drab shed.
Master Roofing Australia has recently cleaned roof at Bald Hills in QLD. The customer was very satisfied with the results! Check out the photos...
Master Roofing was contacted when Paul had noticed his fathers roof was leaking at Palm Beach. Significant mould spots have been appearing on the roof ceiling. When Master Roofing attended site it was quite easy too see the problem. Someone had previously restored the roof but had not put weep holes in the ridge capping. If weep holes are not installed any water or moisture that gets in behind these ridge cap builds up and over flows. Master Roofing was able to help Paul and drill some new weep holes into the cement motar. After this was complete Master Roofing hosed the roof off and checked the internal ceiling cavity for further water entry, we were satisfied to see there was no further water leaks at the property at Palm Beach!
Are leaves clogging up your gutters?
Do you have wet mould marks on your homes ceiling? These are the issues Master Roofing Australia addressed today, installing gutter guard and re-pointing a roof @ Shailer Park. The homes gutters were filled with pine needles from nearby overhanging branches. This was causing the gutters to block and the flow of rain water to overflow the gutter instead of being fed down into the downpipes. The solution was to install mesh Gutter Guard to keep those nasty pine needles out and keep the water flowing! The ceiling inside the home was starting to show severe signs of water entry and mould growth caused by cracked, porous cement mortar which was starting to fall away from the ridge caps. The solution was to re-point all ridge capping with new flexible pointing which is prefect for the humid weather of QLD. Flexible pointing expands and contracts with the daily weather conditions, so it will not breakdown and crack like standard sand and cement mortar mix. The owners of the home were happy that two simple roofing solutions could fix the major water damage they were experiencing. |
